The workouts and routines are constantly changing, which means that you and your body are constantly being challenged. This means you no longer will be bored with a standard gym workout and your body develops a core and universal level of fitness. What a typical CrossFit workout looks like
Usually short, somewhere in the 10-25 minute range. The entire session is usually an hour long, which includes a warm-up, mobility, technique and a cool down period after the workout.
It will be intense. The CrossFit workouts are designed in such a way to test your mental and physical strength.
Often scored / timed. Unlike other fitness classes or gyms, CrossFit workouts are often performed with a time limit, stop watch or scoring system. Your performance and score is recorded over time to help gauge your overall progress and improvements.
Extreme variety in your CrossFit workout. You may never see the same workout within a 1-2 month period. In fact you might only complete a workout routine once and never again. This ensure your body is constantly adapting and improving.
